Research and publication is one of the focus areas for achieving the college’s vision, mission, and educational objectives. Santé medical college also has its own separated research officers and office.

• It has a well-organized IRB & research team composed of experts from all Four Thematic Areas.
• The office also plays a significant role for scholars to share their knowledge with the community by conducting annual research and medical education conferences.
• To date, the college has hosted
  • Six Annual Research Conferences
    • The 6^th annual research conference, themed “Climate Change & Malaria Transmission Novel Approaches to Prevention and Control,” was held at SMC on July 27, 2024.
  • Two Medical Education Conferences
    • The 2nd SMC medical education conference and medical exhibition, themed “Quality Enhancement and Accreditation in Medical Education in the 21st Century,” was held on April 28, 2023, at SMC.
  • The Office also has Its Own Manuals, Guidelines, and Policies.

Research Publications

• In the 2022/2023 fiscal year the office achieved a notable accomplishment with the publication of Four Research Papers in Reputable Journals. These publications demonstrate the high quality of research being conducted at SMC and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in various fields.
